Our solutions simplify and strengthen telecommunications and enterprise network security with a unified, multi-technology access platform. Our Website provides you with information about our company and our portfolio of solutions and technologies.

Starten respects the privacy of visitors to our Website and in our communications with you (online via the Website or email or telephone). The purpose of this Privacy Policy is to inform you how we may use personal information collected from you when you visit the Website or otherwise interact with us.

By accessing or using the Website or otherwise communicating with us, you consent to the information collection, disclosure and use practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any of our policies and practices described in this Privacy Policy, your only remedy is not to visit the Website or otherwise interact with us.

  • Telephone number
  • Email address

Please do not provide any sensitive personal information, such as financial, medical or health-related information via the Website or in other communications with us. We do not need nor ask you to provide any sensitive personal information.

Be advised that the Website does not automatically collect any personal information when you visit our Website (including not collecting your IP address). The Website does not deploy any cookies or other tracking technologies (e.g., pixels or web beacons). We do not use personal information to serve online ads.

We use Google Search Console to analyze our Website's impressions, clicks, and position on Google Search. Google Search Console uses anonymized and aggregated search performance data but does not collect or track personal information of visitors to our Website.

JOB APPLICANTS

If you apply for a position with us, you will be asked to provide certain personal information to enable us to process your application: name, telephone, email address, resume and physical/mailing address. Note that if you submit your application information via email or regular mail, your included personal information will also be treated in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

Starten is located in the United States. Information that we collect will be stored and processed in the United States in accordance with this Privacy Policy. We may transfer and access personal information from around the world, including but not limited to the United States. This Privacy Policy shall apply even if we transfer personal information to other countries. By accessing the Website, you consent to this transfer, processing, and storage of your personal information in the United States or other jurisdictions, including to jurisdictions in which the privacy laws may not be as comprehensive as those in the country where you reside. Note that your personal information may be available to the United States government or its agencies under legal process in the United States.

CALIFORNIA PRIVACY RIGHTS

"Shine The Light" Law

California residents with whom we have an established relationship have the right to request certain information with respect to any personal information that a business may have shared with third parties for their direct marketing purposes. Alternatively, we may provide a cost-free means to opt out of such sharing. Note, however, that Starten does not disclose your personal information to other companies for their marketing purposes. For California residents under the age of 18 and registered users of our Website, California law (Business and Professionals Code § 22581) provides that you can request the removal of content or information you posted on websites. California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA)

Do Not Track

We do not currently honor browsers' Do Not Track signals with respect to our Website.

Do Not Sell/Share My Personal Information

Starten does not sell or share your personal information for purposes of cross-context behavioral advertising. Accordingly, we have not implemented Global Privacy Control or other automated opt out signals.

OTHER U.S. STATES PRIVACY LAWS

In addition to California, to date multiple US states have enacted similar consumer privacy laws: Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Maryland, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Oregon, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, and Virginia. A few other states, Florida, Maine, Michigan, Nevada, New York, Vermont and Washington States have enacted laws focused on specific data privacy issues.

Starten is not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of any websites that we do not directly control.

CHILDREN

The Website is not directed to or intended for children under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from persons under 18.
